Cave Companion is an app from CAVE (Cave Devotionals), operated by Warrior Design. This page describes what the app actually stores and who processes it.

What we store

• Account details: your email address and sign-in method (email/password, magic link, Google or Apple).
• Age group: whether you chose 13–17 or 18+, and for 13–17 your own statement that a parent or guardian gave permission, with the date and Terms version. We don’t collect birthdates or parents’ contact details, and we don’t verify parental consent.
• What you write: prayers, dream entries, reflections, Cave Sessions, Companion conversations and pathway progress.
• Membership records: plan, status, trial dates, billed periods, and Square reference IDs for your customer profile, saved card, subscription, invoices, payments and refunds. We never receive or store card numbers or security codes.

Ages

Cave Companion is not for children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has an account, email connect@cavedevotionals.com and we’ll handle deletion manually.

Who can see it

Journal, session, Companion and progress records are tied to your account and protected so other members cannot read them. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Companion replies

Companion replies are produced by guided rules inside the app. Your messages are not currently sent to an outside AI model. If that changes, this page will be updated first.

Service providers

• Lovable Cloud — hosting, sign-in and database storage.
• Google and Apple — only if you choose to sign in with them.
• Square — membership payments, once enabled. Card details are typed into a field or page served by Square, never by us. Square receives your card details, the email address and name on your account, and device information it uses for security and fraud checks. Square may email you receipts or payment notices about your membership.
• Google Fonts — the app loads typefaces from Google, which receives your IP address.
• cavedevotionals.com — Light Library articles are copied from our own website, and their pictures load from it, so it receives your IP address. Links to Amazon open Amazon’s site under its own policies.

Export and deletion

You can download your data from your Profile. Account deletion is handled by request: send it from your Profile or email connect@cavedevotionals.com and we will process it manually and reply to confirm. Your entries stay available to you until then. A deletion request does not cancel a Square membership by itself, so cancel renewal from your Profile first. Billing records may need to be kept where payment rules require it.
